Quick Biography

My name is Daniel Liu, and I’m a 13-year-old from Surrey, British Columbia.

I currently have the opportunity to live with my grandmother and have developed a deep respect for the elderly.

Speech Information

In our busy day-to-day lives, people can fail to appreciate and connect to our grandparents and other elders in our families.

Daniel believes the elderly people in our lives suffer greatly if they are dismissed or neglected, AND you can miss out on special relationships with them.

He applied to this TEDx speech because he has a special connection to his grandma.

Daniel wants to share why and how you can respect the elderly using a few simple steps and examples form his own life.
